Nigerian hypeman Fisayo Michael, popularly known as MC Fish, has opened up about the reasons behind his failed marriage with Nollywood actress Anita Joseph.
The couple, who got married in 2020, ended their marriage in 2025 after Anita confirmed their separation on Instagram in December.
Since then, both of them had avoided speaking publicly about the issue.
However, MC Fish broke his silence in a video shared on Instagram, where he revealed that cheating from both sides played a major role in their separation.
He made the comments while reacting to the marital controversy involving media personality Frank Edoho and his wife, Sandra Edoho.
Frank had accused Sandra of having an affair with singer Chike, while Sandra also accused her husband of cheating with different female celebrities.
The estranged couple reportedly shared evidence online to support their allegations.
Speaking on the issue, MC Fish said men should not tolerate repeated cheating in marriage.
He claimed he personally experienced infidelity during his relationship with Anita Joseph and alleged that she was involved with several men.
According to him, he decided to leave the marriage quietly in July 2025 to avoid public drama and embarrassment.
He said, “The news that’s spreading is that Frank Edoho and Mrs Sandra Edoho are in an entanglement with a singer. First of all, as someone who has first-hand experience on this issue, cheating in marriage.
“First of all, both parties are wrong, but one party is more wrong. Which one be say your husband is cheating on you and you too are cheating back?
“There’s no direct solution to a woman who has left her marriage to cheat on you consistently.
“My advice to my fellow men is if you notice changes in the way your woman behaves towards you or talks to you, please sit down with her and ask her what the problem is before you go and do your own FBI because dem no dey monitor women.
“Imagine a man hearing his wife talking to another man in that manner about something that is so forbidden and they did not stop despite the warning.
“Omo, Mr Frank, I really commend you for your patience and maturity. You’re one of the most patient and mature men I have met in this country.
“For those of you thinking I don’t have every right to speak in this case, I have every right because cheating in marriage, I have experienced it. You all know the story. Both parties cheated, and I’m not even denying the fact that I’m absolving myself of blame.
“She cheated too with countless numbers of people that if I even mention, the whole country will first pause if I decide to mention names.
“Because of the cheating, I had to leave the marriage because I’m not going to do something that will now embarrass the two of us in public.
“I left the house in July 2025; she’s the one that later brought it out to the public in December. I have moved on with my life,” he stated.
The entertainer also said that after leaving the marriage, he decided to cut ties with past relationships and start life afresh.
He said, “I had moved on with my life before you people came, in fact, because of this thing.
“I had to cut off every entanglement, every relationship that I had in that marriage, and even the ones that, oh, I could even have done something with after I left. I opened a clean slate.”
MC Fish added that he expected some people to challenge his claims online, but said he was not bothered by public reactions.
He said, “I know this is one thing, a lot of people will come to this internet, to come and lie, to come and give false advice, to come and say all sorts of trash.
“I am not the one that will preach to you here now, and you will see me on the road and I am doing all that, everybody knows, if you whine me, I will enter you.”
At the time of filing this report, Anita Joseph had not responded to the allegations.
A look at her social media pages showed that her latest post was a promotional video for a perfume brand.
