Bandits: They Call Me Thrice Or Even Four Times Daily,Warning Me To Abide By Their Requests – Father

Families in Tsanyawa Local Government Area of Kano State are living in fear after bandits who kidnapped ten residents reportedly began issuing daily threats demanding ransom. According to a report by Daily Post on Sunday, November 30, 2025, the criminals have been contacting one of the victims’ fathers repeatedly, using him as their main communication link to other affected families.

Relatives say the pressure has been overwhelming, as the bandits warn that failure to meet their demands could lead to the victims’ death. The father explained that he receives three to four calls every single day, with the abductors insisting that he and other families must comply or face tragic consequences.

He also revealed that the ransom being demanded is far beyond anything the community can afford. According to him, his family has never seen such an amount and only survives on farmland and a few small animals. This financial limitation has deepened the worry among villagers, who fear that their inability to raise the money may endanger their loved ones.

The tense atmosphere in Tsanyawa has forced many residents to restrict movement and remain alert as they await intervention from security agencies. Local leaders are said to be in contact with the affected families, urging them to stay calm while authorities work toward a solution.
