Nigerian media personality Mayowa Lambe has issued a legal cease and desist notice to her former partner, OAP Roby Ekpo, following his public claims regarding the end of their marriage.
In the notice sent through her representatives, she claimed that their traditional marriage had already been mutually dissolved before May 2025, with both families aware.
She accused Roby of spreading false narratives about her, including claims about infidelity, financial dependence, and the status of their relationship.
According to the letter, these statements have led to online trolling and reputational damage.
Her legal team is demanding that he stop making further statements, delete previous content, and issue a public apology.
They also requested ₦100 million in damages, warning that legal action would follow if he fails to comply within three days.
