Fàbregas: Premier league Is dream, but patience is key

Spanish coach Cesc Fàbregas has opened up about his big ambitions, his growth as a young manager, and his strong connection to life in Como.

Speaking about his future, Fàbregas made it clear that managing in the Premier League remains his ultimate goal. He described it as “the biggest dream a coach can have,” but quickly added that he is focused on steady progress rather than rushing ahead. According to him, there is still a lot to learn, and he believes his time will come.

The former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder said he has strong belief in his coaching ideas and methods. Even though he is still young in the coaching world, he is confident in what he wants to achieve. “Have I got it in me? Time will tell. I believe so much in my methodology,” he said.

Fàbregas also spoke about enjoying the journey. He explained that coaching comes in stages, and he sees himself in the early phase where learning is very important. He stressed that he and his team will give everything to improve and become the best they can be.

The 36-year-old revealed that last year, he considered visiting other clubs to understand how they operate. He even discussed the idea with the club president, but later decided to stay where he is. That decision, he said, was influenced not just by football, but also by his family’s happiness.

“It’s important that my family is happy,” he noted, adding that as long as they are comfortable in Como, he is willing to continue his work there.

Fàbregas is currently building his coaching career in Italy, taking lessons from each step while keeping his long-term dream alive.
