In a video recently shared by NTA, Austin revealed that when Mathias was questioned, he admitted to the crime. Mathias confessed that he was influenced by a friend who convinced him that using his mother’s head in a ritual would bring him wealth.
Austin recounted the interrogation, saying:
“I asked him, ‘Is it true that you murdered somebody?’ and he said, ‘Yes.’ I asked him, ‘Who did you murder?’ and he said, ‘My mother.’ I asked him for what reason, and he said, ‘The person standing beside me told me that if I want to make money, I should bring the head of my mother.'”
