I Was With Sky News, They Brought Out A Data I Didn’t Even Know, Showing More Muslims Were Killed – Daniel Bwala

Daniel Bwala, spokesperson for President Bola Tinubu, has addressed claims of a Christian genocide in Nigeria, highlighting efforts by the Federal Government to provide accurate information to international media outlets.

Speaking in an interview covered by TVC News, Bwala noted that major U.S. news organizations have received verified reports and fact-checked claims about the crisis in Nigeria. “Reuters, BBC, CNN, and others requested reports from multinational and non-governmental organizations in Nigeria. Based on their fact-checking, they concluded there is no Christian genocide in Nigeria,” he explained.

Bwala also shared insights from a recent visit to Sky News in London, where he encountered data he had not previously seen. The statistics revealed that more Muslims, rather than Christians, had been killed, underscoring the broader reality of insecurity affecting Nigerians across all religious groups.

He emphasized that the Federal Government’s approach to insecurity is not determined by religion. “We are aware that Nigerians are being killed regardless of their faith, and the government is committed to finding lasting solutions while countering false narratives,” Bwala added.
