Isaac Fayose, younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose, has clarified that he is not personally targeting his brother or his political associates, amid recent accusations of intimidation.
In a video shared on his Facebook page on Saturday, November 29, 2025, Isaac addressed claims made by Ayo Fayose that he was directing attacks at him and friends, including FCT Minister Nyesom Wike and Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji. Isaac stressed that his comments focus solely on public matters and governance.
“As an indigene of Ekiti State, I have every right to speak about issues in the state and the performance of the governor,” he said. “The fact that you are from there and I am your brother does not mean I can’t talk about the happenings in Ekiti, the under-development in Ekiti, and what is going on in Ekiti. Oyebanji is my governor the same way he is your governor, so I have every right to say, ‘My Governor you are not working, please work for the people. Where is our money going?’ And same with Abuja, where I have billions of investments and Wike happens to be the FCT minister.”
Isaac emphasised that his actions are an expression of civic responsibility, not personal attacks, asserting his right to comment on governance issues both in Ekiti State and Abuja.
