A woman identified as Anastacia from Western Kenya has opened up about the painful circumstances that pushed her into an affair. In a recent interview, she revealed that discovering her husband’s repeated involvement with other women left her emotionally drained, eventually leading her to make choices she now regrets.
Anastacia grew up in Western Kenya, but her life took a difficult turn after losing both parents soon after completing primary school. With no support system, she moved to Nairobi in search of opportunities and worked as a househelp in several homes. When she finally obtained her identification card, she moved in with a close friend who promised to connect her with better-paying work.
However, the friend introduced her to nightclub activities where she was pressured to engage in relationships with men for money. Anastacia shared that she felt trapped, as refusing would have meant being thrown out with nowhere to go. She endured the situation for years before meeting a man who proposed to her.
They married, built a home together, and welcomed three children. But things changed when her husband began coming home late and often claimed to be “working.” After making inquiries, she said she discovered he was involved with multiple women and frequently travelled to Mombasa with them. When he also stopped providing for the family, she became desperate.
Anastacia eventually confided in another man who offered financial support, and a secret relationship started. She later had a child with him. Unfortunately, the man passed away, and not long after, her husband learned of the affair and walked away from their marriage.
She now advises couples to remain faithful and communicate honestly, warning that infidelity destroys families and exposes partners to emotional and health risks.
