A resident of Nembe has issued an urgent plea to authorities regarding the critical state of a major road in Bayelsa State, citing large, dangerous potholes that pose a severe threat to commuters.
In a video released, the man highlighted that the heavily trafficked route is regularly used by school children and elders, making its current dilapidated state a safety hazard. He warned that if immediate repairs are not carried out, the road could become the site of a major disaster.
The resident further disclosed that a contracting company was previously assigned to construct the road, demanding that they be held accountable and ordered to return to the site to fix the damages immediately.
