A young woman identified as Liz from Murang’a has shared a heartbreaking story of how her mother, overwhelmed by constant pain and deteriorating health, recently begged her to give her poison so she could die and be free from suffering. Liz is now appealing to well‑wishers to help her take her mother abroad for proper medical care.
According to Liz, her mother was perfectly healthy before she travelled abroad for work. She entrusted Liz with her baby and left the country. However, a few months later, Liz received a distressing call from a neighbour informing her that her mother had suddenly fallen ill.
Liz quickly hired someone to take care of both her child and her mother, who was moved from one hospital to another. Doctors initially diagnosed her with a stomach infection and placed her on medication, but nothing changed.
After two years, Liz returned home and spent all her savings seeking treatment for her mother. Sadly, her condition only worsened. Today, her body is covered with painful wounds, and the suffering has become so unbearable that she recently asked Liz to give her poison so she could end the agony.
