A Liberian pastor, Solomon Gueh and his wife Sarah have welcomed their first child after 14 years of waiting.
The couple announced the birth of their baby girl in Facebook posts on Tuesday, April 28, 2026.
“We waited, We prayed and in God’s own time. He send us a girl. Call me Sarine’s ma and pa for now. Congratulations brown Sugar Solomon W Gueh,” Sarah wrote.
Meanwhile, friends, family, and well wishers have taken to Facebook to celebrate with the couple.
“After 14 years of marriage and unwavering faith through the waiting season, Pastor Solomon W Gueh and his wife Pastor Sarah Jallah Gueh are now celebrating a long-awaited blessing—the arrival of their first child, a baby girl,” one Lee Greatness Wantee, wrote.
“The baby was born on April 27 and named Sarine, meaning “Princess,” a beautiful reminder of God’s perfect timing and faithfulness.
“This is truly a story of patience rewarded. Congratulations to the family on this incredible gift! ”
