Trump Is Jealous That China & France Are Friends Of This Govt, He Wants To Have A Piece Of The Cake

Buba Galadima, a senior figure in the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), has suggested that U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent threats of military action in Nigeria are driven more by self-interest than genuine concern over reported attacks on Christians.

In an interview with AIT News on Monday, Galadima argued that Trump, as a transactional leader, is unsettled by the close ties Nigeria currently maintains with China and France. He alleged that the U.S. President aims to secure a share of the benefits these countries are reportedly enjoying from Nigeria’s resources.

“Trump is a transactional leader; he is jealous that China and France are friends of this government and he wants to have a piece of the cake. He is frightening them to come and take over Nigeria, and my fear is that they might sell the whole of Nigeria to Trump,” Galadima said.

He further suggested that any future praise from Trump towards the Nigerian government would indicate significant personal gain from the country’s resources. “Disregard Trump because they know they have something in their closet, which is why they are afraid of him. Trump will not strike. Whenever you see Trump clapping for this government, he has milked us dry,” Galadima added.
