PDP chieftain Umar Sani has reacted to a widely circulated photo showing the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nantewe Yilwelta, in discussion with the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, SAN, and immediate past PDP National Chairman, Ambassador Umar Iliya Damagun.
The photo, which emerged online on Saturday, November 29, 2025, shows the three leaders engaging in a cordial conversation at the Chinese Lounge of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja. The meeting took place as they were preparing to travel to Bauchi State to pay a condolence visit following the passing of the late Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi.
Umar Sani shared the photo on his official X account, praising the interaction as a display of political maturity. He highlighted that such engagements reflect unity, tolerance, and responsible leadership in Nigeria’s political landscape.
Sani wrote, “The National Chairman of the PDP, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, SAN, APC National Chairman Prof. Nantewe Yilwelta and former PDP National Chairman Amb.
