A 20-year-old man named Precious has confessed to being involved in a shocking case of child murder in Delta State. He was apprehended by the state Police Command and, during questioning by Police Officer Edafe Bright, admitted to luring a young girl and delivering her to two unknown men who later killed her with a cutlass.
In a video shared by TVC News, Precious recounted how the incident began. He explained that he had asked his girlfriend to give him one of her 10-year-old siblings, who were triplets. Although she refused his suspicious request, she failed to report the matter to anyone.
Later that day, Precious sent someone to call one of the children. He then took the young girl to two men who had agreed to pay him ₦300,000 for delivering her.
Precious admitted that he witnessed the gruesome act. In his words:
“When I carried the child and gave the two boys, they killed her with a cutlass. I felt pain when they were killing the child.”
He further revealed that the men buried the child after the murder.
The tragedy came to light when the girl’s family began searching for her. Precious’ girlfriend remembered his earlier request and informed her parents. This led to a community-wide search for Precious.
He was eventually apprehended by locals, who prevented him from being lynched and handed him over to the authorities.
