“Whenever I Call My Husband, Different Girls Pick Up His Phone and Rain Curses on Me” – Josephine
Josephine Akinrinlola, a woman battling sickle cell disease, has opened up about the heartbreaking betrayal she faced in her marriage.
In an interview on Biola Adebayo’s official YouTube channel, she revealed that after giving birth to twins, her husband abandoned their home. When she tried to reach him, unknown young women would pick up his phone and hurl insults at her.
Josephine recalled that after returning home from the hospital, she was shocked to find that her husband was missing, along with most of his belongings. Confused and desperate to know his whereabouts, she repeatedly called his phone, only to be met with verbal abuse from strangers.
In her words:
“When I got back home after giving birth to my twins, I didn’t meet my husband at home. In fact, I didn’t see most of his luggage. Whenever I called him to ask about his whereabouts, different girls—young girls—would pick up his phone. They would rain curses on me and my children.”
She also claimed that her husband had been bringing multiple women into their home. Josephine stated that at the time, her husband was unemployed, while she was the one going out to work every day to sustain the family.
In her words:
“Whenever I went to work, I discovered that my husband usually brought in different women. Even my neighbor told me that she had seen my husband bring in about five different women every time I left for work. They would enter my kitchen, cook soup, and even probably tamper with the soup I left. Only God knows what they have done behind my back. I just thank God that I am still alive today.”
