Isaac Fayose has publicly criticized his elder brother, former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose, over what he described as puzzling priorities surrounding Ayo’s recent 65th birthday celebration. The comments were made in a video shared on Isaac’s verified Facebook page on Friday, November 28, 2025, sparking renewed discussion on family tensions and political alliances.
According to Isaac, Ayo had previously dismissed former President Olusegun Obasanjo as unimportant, even referring to him in unflattering terms. Yet, Isaac alleged that his brother spent 20,000 dollars to ensure Obasanjo attended the birthday event, questioning why someone publicly belittled was given such prominence.
