Content creator AlvinOfLagos has raised concerns over the high cost of transportation from Lagos airport.
In a video, he complained about what he described as inflated ride fares, claiming that some drivers charge between ₦40,000 and ₦50,000 for trips that would typically cost far less.
According to him, many ride-hailing drivers reportedly refuse trips unless the fare is significantly increased, often citing airport charges as the reason.
Frustrated by the situation, he said he resorted to using a motorcycle to leave the airport.
He also questioned the lack of regulation, noting that passengers who already spend over ₦150,000 on flight tickets are still expected to pay tens of thousands more just to get home.
