“I’m a Muslim, But I Used to Go to Church Until My Grandma Appeared to Me in a Dream” – Habibat Jinad

Yoruba movie actress Habibat Jinad has opened up about a significant turning point in her spiritual journey. In a candid interview on Wasilacoded TV, she shared how she once attended church services despite being a Muslim—until a dream featuring her late grandmother changed everything.

Speaking in the interview, she admitted that practicing Islam initially felt overwhelming, especially with the commitment of praying five times a day. This led her to explore Christianity instead. However, things took a dramatic turn when her late grandmother appeared to her in a dream with a powerful message.

“Before she passed, my grandma told my family to give me a rosary,” Habibat revealed. “I had drifted away from Islam because I felt the daily prayers were too demanding, so I started going to church. But one night, my grandmother appeared to me in a dream and handed me the rosary herself. From that moment on, everything in my life changed for the better. Since then, I’ve been able to overcome every challenge that comes my way.”

Her experience has since reshaped her understanding of faith, reinforcing her belief that being close to God isn’t about routine attendance at a mosque or church but about genuine spiritual connection.
