Grammy-nominated Nigerian singer Asake has officially unveiled his fourth studio album titled M$NEY.
The highly anticipated 13-track project was released on streaming platforms in the early hours of Friday, with fans quickly flooding social media to celebrate the new body of work.
The album includes tracks such as Intro, Worship, Gratitude, Rora, Amen, Wa, MCBH, Why Love, Forgiveness, Oba, Badman Gangsta, Asambe, and Skilful.
Asake also enlisted international collaborators on the project, working with French rapper and singer Tiakola and South African Amapiano star Kabza De Small.
The release marks another major milestone for the singer, whose real name is Ahmed Ololade, as he continues to expand his influence within the global Afrobeats scene.
Asake first gained mainstream attention in 2020 following the success of his breakout single Lady, a track that helped introduce his energetic sound and unique style to a wider audience.
Since then, he has maintained a steady rise in the music industry with a string of commercially successful projects and hit songs.
Before releasing M$NEY, the singer had already built an impressive album catalogue with Mr. Money With The Vibe in 2022, Work of Art in 2023, and Lungu Boy in 2024.
All three projects enjoyed strong streaming numbers and helped cement his reputation as one of Nigeria’s leading contemporary artistes.
The singer has also continued to receive international recognition for his music. Last year, he earned a Grammy nomination in the Best African Music Performance category, although the award eventually went to fellow Nigerian star Tems.
Beyond his music, Asake has often spoken about the influence of Lagos on his personal journey and artistic identity.
Reflecting on his experiences in the city, he recently said, “Lagos taught me how to live like a man. Lagos inspired most of my songs.”
Fans and music lovers have already begun reacting to M$NEY, with many praising the production quality, collaborations, and Asake’s continued consistency in delivering new music year after year.
The album’s release is expected to further strengthen his position on both African and international music charts in the coming weeks.
