The Night of June 7th will begin showing on silver screens next month and it promises to start necessary conversations.
The film, inspired by true events, tells the harrowing and devastating story of the Apo Six who lost their lives on June 7th 2005 after an encounter with a Deputy Commissioner of Police in a night club where the 6 friends had gone to celebrate a birthday.
The things that will transpire that night will bring a city to its knees.
The film stars Femi Branch, Ali Nuhu, Gideon Okeke, and Charles Lenny.
It is written and produced by Linda Ikeji and directed by Toka Mcbaror.
