A Texas assistant principal was ‘accidentally’ sh0t in the face and k!lled by her teacher husband.
Alberto Velasquez, 39, was arrested and charged with manslaughter for k!lling his wife, Lindsay Velasquez, 42, on Friday, April 17.
Benbrook Police said they responded to reports of ‘someone accidentally sh0t in the face’ at the family’s home in the suburbs of Fort Worth.

First responders found mom-of-three unconscious with an apparent gunsh0t wound at the scene.
She was transported to Harris Hospital Downtown, where she was pronounced deceased, police said.
After an on-scene investigation, officers arrested Velasquez and charged him with manslaughter.
Tarrant County jail records indicate Velasquez was released on a $35,000 bond on Monday. It is unclear when he will appear in court next.
Lindsay was in her second year as assistant principal at Luella Merrett Elementary School.
‘We are so happy to have her positive energy on our campus. She works hard for our families, our teachers, and our students,’ the school’s website stated.
‘She has continued the program we started last year with recognizing our outstanding students and those with perfect attendance every six weeks, as well as our weekly drawings for our Super Bees of the Week.
‘When she is not here, she enjoys spending time with her family and doing things around Fort Worth.’
Fort Worth ISD confirmed her death and offered counselors and support staff for students and faculty at her school.
‘We are deeply saddened by this loss, and our thoughts are with the family and all those impacted,’ the district said in a statement to Fox 4.

Records from the State Board for Educator Certification show that Velasquez is also a certified teacher.
He is certified to teach social studies for grades 7 to 12, and his certification was issued on December 20, 2021, and is set to expire on July 31, 2027.
The records note that Velasquez is currently under review by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) Educator Investigations Division.
The couple had three daughters together, and a GoFundMe for Lindsay described her as a doting mother.
‘She was a devoted and loving mother to her three beautiful daughters, who were the very center of her world. They were her purpose, her pride, and her greatest joy,’ the fundraiser said.

‘Lindsay had a rare and incredibly special way of making people feel truly seen and cared for. Whether through her warm laughter, her quiet strength, or the simple ways that she showed up for others, she left a lasting imprint on every life she touched.’
