Movie producer, Jade Osiberu and On Air Personality, Dotun clashed on X yesterday, April 22, after Jade said friends of OAP, Roby Ekpo, are not good people.
Jade berated Roby’s friends for alllowing him go on a podcast in his vulnerable state to discuss his marital crisis.
In a viral interview he granted on a podcast, Roby wept profusely as he spoke of how his marriage to Mayowa ended and all the things he allegedly endured from her.
Like Jade, some people felt he should not have gone on the podcast to speak up about his pain.
In a post shared on her X handle, Jade said his friends are not good people. According to her, Roby’s intention was to come off as the victim during the interview but his plot failed to work. She argued that men and women should be allowed to speak their truth but not to ‘’exploitative podcasters’ who in her words are trying to make money off their guest’s pain without any care about their mental state.
Dotun, who is a friend of Roby, spotted her comment and his reaction pointed out that Jade should have made suggestions of better options Roby could have explored rather than make mockery of his choice.
Responding to Dotun’s comment, Jade said Dotun as well needs to heal. According to her, Dotun was projecting his own biases on her. She went on to pray for Dotun and ‘’whatever demons’ he was fighting with.
It was at this point Dotun lost his cool and things took a different turn between them.
