Paul Ibe, Senior Media Assistant to former VP Atiku Abubakar, has blasted President Bola Tinubu’s administration over reports that Nigeria paid $9 million to a US lobbying firm to protect Christians’ image abroad.

Reacting on his official X account, Ibe slammed the government’s priorities, saying, “Instead of investing money and efforts to protect Nigerians from terrorists and bandits, Tinubu is paying a US lobby firm $9 million to launder the image of its government. Who did this to us?”

He described Tinubu’s leadership as clueless and lacking clear direction, urging the administration to focus on real security challenges rather than spending on image management.
