Nigerian human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore has announced that Linus Williams Ifejirika, the crypto entrepreneur popularly known as Blord, has been granted bail.

KanyiDaily recalls that Blord had been facing allegations of criminal conspiracy, impersonation, and using the identity of Martins Vincent Otse without permission.
The case began after VeryDarkMan accused him of featuring his image in an advert without approval.
After appearing in court, Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia initially ordered that Blord be held at the Kuje Correctional Centre until April 27, 2026.
Sowore had earlier criticised those celebrating Blord’s detention, saying he would push for the case to be withdrawn and for his release.
In a post shared via his Facebook page on Friday, April 17, Sowore revealed that Blord had been granted bail, noting that one of the conditions requires the businessman to surrender his international passport.
He wrote, “Bail has been granted to Linus Williams popularly known as Blord on self recognizanse. The court, however ordered that he deposit his international passport as part of the bail conditions.”

KanyiDaily recalls that Nigerian rapper Phyno had publicly appealed to VeryDarkMan to drop his case against Blord.
