Jose Luis Rodriguez received three consecutive life sentences after pleading guilty to three counts of first-degree m8rder, the Berks County District Attorney’s Office said.
Authorities said 31-year-old Junior Cabrera-Colon was found shot to d3ath on September 13, 2025.
Investigators later determined his wife, Geraldina Peguero-Mancebo, and their 1-year-old son, Jeyden Peguero, were also missing.
A week later, the mother and child were found in a wooded area.
Prosecutors said the toddler was discovered “partially submerged in a marshy area.”
Prosecutors said Rodriguez admitted to k!lling all three.
In court, an assistant district attorney said Rodriguez picked up Peguero-Mancebo and her son, shot her and drowned the child before later k!lling Cabrera-Colon.
“Each of the three k!llings was premeditated,” the prosecutor said.
“Each of the acts was undertaken with the specific intent to k!ll and with malice.”
According to Fox 29, authorities said Rodriguez told investigators he had “some sort of relationship” with Peguero-Mancebo and cited financial disputes.
Family members said the case has been difficult.
“We’re grateful because it’s not a relief, but the closing of a chapter,” cousin Heinel Medrano, said.
