Media personality Mayowa Lambe has taken a legal step in the ongoing situation involving her ex-partner Roby Ekpo, issuing a cease and desist notice over statements she describes as false and damaging.
In the notice, Mayowa made it clear that there is no existing marital relationship between them, directly countering claims that have been circulating publicly. She also stated that there is verifiable evidence available that contradicts the narrative being presented about their past relationship.
Her legal team outlined specific demands directed at Roby Ekpo, insisting that he immediately stop making what they described as defamatory remarks. The notice also calls for the removal of all content considered false, along with a formal public retraction and apology.
In addition, Mayowa is seeking financial compensation, placing a demand of N100,000,000 in damages over the alleged harm caused by the statements.
The notice further warned that failure to comply with these demands within 48 hours would lead to immediate legal action, with no additional warnings to be issued.
This development marks a significant escalation in the ongoing public dispute between both parties, which has already drawn widespread attention online following interviews, resurfaced videos, and social media reactions tied to their past relationship and recent life events.
