Aboy was joined in matrimony in late March 2026, shortly after the cleric publicly reached out on Facebook asking for a wife for him. In a fresh update posted online, the cleric revealed that his son has recorded a new level of personal independence in his daily routine. According to him, the development came through a message he received from his daughter-in-law via WhatsApp, detailing a change in Aboy’s ability to manage personal care without assistance.
The message read:
“Glory be to God almighty. The God of possibility. Do you know this morning, my husband, Elijah has started bathing himself. Thank you doctor Jesus.”
The statement reflected excitement and gratitude from the young woman, who described the moment as something unexpected and deeply encouraging for the family. Until recently, Aboy required consistent support from caregivers to complete basic personal tasks, including bathing.
The update indicates that he has now begun performing this task independently, which the family considers a meaningful step in his daily living progress.
