Veteran Nollywood actor Yomi Fash-Lanso has opened up on the secret behind his successful and enduring career in the Nigerian movie industry, revealing that discipline and self-control have played major roles in helping him remain relevant for decades.
The respected actor, who has spent over 30 years in the entertainment industry, explained during a recent interview that consistency in Nollywood goes beyond talent alone.

Yomi Fash-Lanso began his acting journey professionally in 1995 and has since built a reputation as one of the most versatile actors in Nollywood. Over the years, he has featured in several Yoruba and English-language productions, earning admiration from fans across generations.
Some of the projects he is known for include the popular movies and series Omo Elemosho, Jenifa, Citation and Wura. His ability to switch between emotional, comic, and serious roles has continued to distinguish him within the competitive movie industry.
Beyond acting, the filmmaker has also worked behind the scenes as a producer and director, contributing immensely to the growth of Nollywood over the years. Before venturing fully into entertainment, he studied Business Administration at the University of Lagos.
